Helmet Rental
Shannonville Motorsport Park (Shannonville) rents helmets for use during our events.
Shannonville will only rent helmets on a per event basis. There are no hourly rates.
You will need to fill out all the information on this page. You will need to know your helmet size. Getting a size larger “just in case” is a bad idea. The helmet needs to fit tight in order to be safe. A loose helmet will not work properly in an accident and could even cause an accident.
The helmet is designed to lessen an impact load to the head but it may not protect the wearer from all foreseeable accidents. Because High Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) and racing are inherently dangerous, the renter assumes all risk and liability whatsoever resulting from use of our rental helmets.
It is the responsibility of the renter to return the helmet in good working condition to the Shannonville Merchandise store within 20 minutes of the last session of their run group. If the helmet is not returned by that time, you will need to bring it back to the Shannonville store within two working days. If not received by 5PM, two days following the event, $300 will be charged to the credit card used for deposit. If the helmet is returned to Shannonville Motorsport Park within five working days after the conclusion of the event, $150 (of the $300 deposit) will be credited back to the credit card used for deposit. If the helmet is lost, damaged, or not returned to Shannonville Motorsport Park within six working days of the conclusion of the event, the full $300 deposit will be forfeited.
We trust you to take good care of your rental helmet and to return it on time. However, should you fail to meet our expectations, we will charge your card as stated above.

- Inventory is limited and is on a first-come, first serve basis
- Every helmet is fully sanitized after each wearing
- A mandatory hairnet is provided with the rental
Rental price is $50 per day event and $30 per evening event. $300 deposit required. HST included.
