Track marshals are a valuable part of our Shannonville team. They are positioned at key locations around the track and are responsible for observing and monitoring track conditions. They also communicate with track participants using flags and hand signals to warn of those conditions. Track marshals may use radios to communicate information to others including rescue and medical responders. They may be required to assist participants and others in an incident.
Track marshals enjoy the camaraderie of working with other motorsport enthusiasts and value providing a service that is important to the success of track events. They also enjoy “one of the best seats in the house.”
Track marshal training is provided by Canadian Race Communication Association.
If you are an experienced marshal, please complete the attached information form and waiver, and then sign-up for our events (by date) by checking out our shared marshal schedule. Add your name to the list and your availability with a YES to each date you want to work. YES will be changed into CONFIRMED once we have added you to our list of workers for that event.
IMPORTANT: An Annual Waiver is required BEFORE you go trackside. Please sign the annual digital waiver and we will provide you with an Identification Card with picture as a proof that you have signed the waiver.
THANK YOU!
